92 965 Injector Fuel Leak/Repair 900 1992

For the last year or so I had smelled fuel coming from the engine compartment after shutdown. Closer inspection revealed fuel on and around the number one cylinder's injector. Board research led me to believe fuel rail issues. Removed the rail, inspected and epoxied the end plug. All seals, upper and lower, all O-rings on the injectors were replaced. Re-installed fuel rail. Leak was now on number four cylinder. Bad injector?

Visited the local PickN Pull. Found a 1995 960 fuel rail. The injectors were missing. My '92 injectors wound up being too short. Back to PnP looking for the "Yellow" injectors. Someone has been collecting injectors. I did find a '99 or '00 S80 normally aspirated with pink injectors. Can't seem to find any info on flow rates for this color. Thought I'd try them. Bought and installed. Started right up. No leaks!
