PNP neutral safety switch ? 900 1993

940 wagon decided not to crank, all idiot lights came on, lots of relays clicking but no starter solenoid. Good battery voltage, and cable connections.

And of course, after the drive-on wrecker dropped the car off at home, it cranked first time.

If it is the pnp switch, where the heck is it located? do you get to it from under the car, or by removing the center console & related shifter parts?

in other words, can I replace it without putting the car up on a lift (which I don't have, just jack stands)?

Thanks much
