On the 1989 240 PDF see PDF page 20 of 20. Grid 11 - A to 11 - B or so.

On the 1990 240 PDF see PDF page 19 of 20. Grid 11 - A to 11 - B or so.

There does appear wiring variation by color and count between 1989 and 1990. Maybe a different presentation of the same connection, I'll guess, it appears at first glance? I'm unsure. The turn signal wire colors seem the same from model years sometime ago.

Art or someone could show you the actual Volvo wiring diagrams.
