New to me 240: maintenance 200

Thank you, Scotty. I am planning to replace the whole list of front end wear items, including strut inserts, tie rods, sway bar bushings, etc.

The gasket on the water pump to engine block is weeping a little, so new water pump is definitely on the list.

At 127,000 miles, is there any reason to muck with the transmission fluid as a "stage 0" precaution? It shifts fine, fluid looks good. I've heard that dropping the pan and changing the AT filter can actually cause problems.
