Faulty fuel pump?? 200

I need to say or ask, are the injectors buzzing when the car cranks?
The pumps can run with out injectors working.

There are a few more things that stop these engines.

Unless he has put a gauge on there somewhere how does he know he has no fuel or pressure up to snuff!

Have him do a starting fluid test into the intake, through a vacuum port, to "rule in" that the car will run if it gets fuel.

Do a look see, under the oil filler cap for the cam to be turning. Slipped or broken timing belt is possible.

I have not seen one of these roller pumps, not work, if it turns on but yours could be a first.

What year is this car anyway?

Phil
