91 240 Fault Code 4-1-3 200

No problem. Plugging the system and installing a nonEGR ECU is an option. I saw a post where a guy used a nickel right at the intake. I'm guessing he didn't swap in a new ECU since he went for the 5 cent fix. I have a vague recollection that he said the fix didn't set his CEL, but don't quote me on that.

Machineman has good advice for testing the system if you want to go that route. I removed the valve and tube to the intake when I had the manifold off to replace my breather box about a year ago. The tube was almost completely clogged. I just whacked it until a bunch of carbon came out. I didn't test the valve operation, but I presume it works unless my CEL is burned out like yours was...
