I am just throwing it out there as these are old electronics now. I come from electronics background and ESD was something that was preached to me over over, in turn I passed it along later on.The boards and componenents used now adays are all garbage and cant be to carefull. I assume you checked the bulbs? Not sure what to say about cruise control? Go back in and check your work maybe reseating some connections will bring it back to life!!
