upside down car - engine damage? Restart procedure? 200 1980

"amazed at the integrity of the car. Windshield badly cracked, but stayed in place, some crumpling on the very forward part of the roof."

The 240 roofs were designed before windshields were made to be part of the structure of the vehicle. Windshields back then were held in place with sticky non-hardening butyl rubber. Today they are glued in place with polyurethane, becoming an integral supporting part of the car.

Now only polyurethane is used to install windshields. So after installation the 245 should be good for another roll. Though not suggested if you want to keep it rolling.
