142E Low Power 140-160

I will run the wd-40 test around the intake manifold because I can hear a hissing and I am not sure its origin! I replaced all of the seals around the fuel injectors back in the spring.

I swapped FI #1 and #2 and found that the real issue is that I just have a bad FI. Therefore ill put in an order for one sometime soon and have a replacement ready to rock and roll.

Another issue was uncovered while running the engine on cylinder #1. After a few seconds I got a rough backfire and then slowly started seeing smoke coming off the exhaust manifold. Then I could see oil leaking from the area of the first cylinder underneath the exhaust manifold. Does this mean I just tore part of the head gasket? I have been losing a lot of oil over the past few months but after pressure washing the engine could not find the origin.

Any thoughts?
