can't get 240 started 200

I am glad that you found out that you were not getting fuel to the fuel rail!

I am curious to which pump you speak of that you took apart to find the crud? You said you cleaned it all out....cleaned what? I am mystified, which sometimes is not hard for me, (:-)

One is a centrifugal vane pump (turbine) and the main pump is a roller positive displacement design.

Did you just flush them somehow? Or do you mean cleaning (it all) fuel system like the tank, check valves and new filters?

These are crimped together units of which I haved opened before. Most of the time when I opened them they were worn out electrically. The brushes were worn out or a groove in the commutator so deep that I did not feel comfortable trying to repair them.

Again I am happy for you! Thanks for the update most of all!
Phil
