Wiper motor issues 444-544 1962

Is your car a 6V? My 444 did the same thing before the 12V conversion. Now I run it through a voltage reducer from my 12V battery and it runs better. Returning to the start position is not expected on these old cars.

You'll have to change the dash switch if you want to go 2-speed. But, the motor is very easy to remove. Take the front seats out to make it easier to maneuver under the dash, and it's cake from there. I'm not sure how it compares to the 122 wiper motor removal.

I think I read somewhere that someone used a 240 motor in there.
