Serious Old School Cool for B16B 444-544

If anyone is wondering what exactly the Judson will do for performance -- I don't have any experience with the 544 B16 but I did own a 1960 Bugeye Sprite with the original 948cc motor (48hp) and a Judson. A road test of the Sprite in Road & Track showed 0-60 in 25 seconds. My car could do it in 10-11 seconds all day long. Gas mileage did suffer some---stock was in the high 30's-low 40's range. My car delivered 30-32. My Sprite's performance was about the equal to a 1275 Mini-Cooper (the original) which had a larger engine but weighed a bit more (Sprite-1360 lbs). I'd guesstimate my h.p. to be in the 65-70 range. The B16 should make something like 115-125 with the Judson. Some fun! -- Dave
