Autozone has internally regulated alt! 120-130

How much money?

A '75 would not have had an internally regulated alternator. I don't think those came along until '78 or so. That said, it's definitely easy to convert the externally regulated B21 alternators to being internally regulated.

But for a '75 with a B20, I'm not sure. Could be, and it would indeed be easy. But likely more expensive than the Delco.

I tend to just tell the counter guy that I have a '80 or whenever chevy whatever, and get that in the system for warranty stuff. Never had a problem. I think as far as Autozone's computer knows, I have about 18 Volvos ranging from 1967 to 1990 (they don't recognize the existence of a pre-1967 Volvo), various Ford trucks ranging from mid '50s through mid '80s, various Jeeps (for Volvo brake light switches), A bunch of mid '60s Jaguars, and a whole mess of various GM products for their alternators. Probably some other oddball stuff too :)

I don't trust their system. It might not recognize the oddity of a '75 240...
