Bulb failure relay suspect for no brake lights need to fix now 900 1991

Hoping someone can offer some help on this.

1991 940SE wagon. I have rear running lights but no brake lights (left, right and center). I don't have the round red version of Bulb failure relay but a square yellow one for the headlights (in the center consule) and a black rectangular one located over the left rear wheel well. There was some Crown T40 rust spray that was inside the rear relay case and it had bridged some solder joints. I cleaned that with contact cleaner but still no brake lights. I am now going to resolder all the points in the rear relay.

Can I bypass the rear relay?
I am driving tomorrow and there is nothing stocked around here so I need a fix.

Any help is appreciated.

cheers ian
