544 brake fluid reservoir leak 444-544

Did you overfill the reservoir? There needs to be some room left for expansion of the brake fluid when it gets warm.

Is the new piece of hose for the bottom of the brake fluid reservoir the correct special hose? The correct hose is not a piece of fuzzy bulk brake fluid resistant hose, but a specially molded hose that has a 5/16" opening for the bottom of the brake fluid reservoir and a smaller end that has a matching taper inside for the flared metal brake line. With this special hose, no hose clamps are required.

And if you did not leave any free play when you adjusted the brake pedal linkage, that might cause the brake fluid to get hot and cause the brake fluid to over flow the reservoir, but you should have noticed significant drag on the brakes when this happens.
