Dear nick 2012,

Hope you're well. The windshield wiper switch is not intended to be repaired.

For a 940, the Part is #1347929. The price at a Volvo dealer is about $180. You should be able to get it for less at Tasca Volvo.

It should also be possible to get it at a salvage yard: this item was used in 740s (1985-92) and 940s (1991-95) cars. It was not used on 960s.

I'd guess that the switch has failed.
