Excessive vibration at idle while in gear 700 1987

Hi folks,

My idle on my 740GLE is a little choppy in drive and reverse. It's not jumpy, it's very stable, but it does vibrate the car uncomfortably. It got worse after I did the engine mounts a while ago - I assume the mounts are stiffer than the OEM mounts (I used URO mounts... my wallet balked at OEM replacements). After doing the heater core job, everything rattles a bit more. Since I'm driving the Volvo more again, I am trying to fix all these "little things."

With very slight pressure on the throttle, the vibrations smooth out - making me suspect that the idle is too low. How do I raise the idle slightly? Do I just work the idle knob on the throttle body?

Thanks!

Ari
