240 power steering pump 200 1985

Hi Everyone,

I owned a 1986 240dl in college and love them and their durability. The question I have is related to the power steering pump. I am restoring a 1967 Land Rover Series 2a (old safari trucks). As part of the restoration, I am converting it to power steering using a Toyota FJ60 steering box. I'd like to use the strong GM "canned ham" pump. Because the FJ60 box uses metric fitting i'd like to use a metric pump. Its my understanding that some of the older 240's used a GM "canned ham" pump. Does anyone know the years and models this was used on? Also, does anyone have one in good working order they would like to sell?

Thanka, Jason
