'86 NA stalls sometimes when coming to a stop 200 1986

My pride and joy has had an issue lately (6 months or so) of stalling when coming to a stop (i.e., pulling into a parking spot) engine up to operating temp or backing out of the garage with the engine cold. Nothing predictable to give any indication it's getting ready to stall. Full major tuneup 5K ago, both fuel pumps < 3 yrs old and running "strong". Now my wife wants to know if its been "acting up" before she'll ride with me in it. When it does stall, I just pop it into neutral and it fires right up without any hesitation. Where should I start looking?

Thanks in advance to any and all suggestions.
