Hello, All.

The replacements and improvements continue...

I am sure a number of you have had experience putting aftermarket seats in a 544. The originals in my '63 are in great shape, but they never were that comfortable to begin with, and along with my concern about the potential for whiplash and the lack of lumbar and head support I have decided it is time to make the old lady a whole lot more comfortable.

I would have loved to have purchased and installed a set of seats from a late-model Volvo, but after two years of searching I've determined that finding a matching set of used, non-electric, fold-forward, leather seats from a late-model two-door Volvo is impossible.

Now I'm looking for a set of Recaros. It seems like they are a lot more ubiquitous and potentially equally comfortable. Do any of you know what models in particular fit well in the 544?
