Alternator/Regulator Wiring 120-130

I am replacing an unknown Mfg Alternator and Ford Regulator with a Bosch Alternator and Regulator in my 1961 Amazon and need some help with the wiring. The Alternator has 4 posts B+, D+, D-, and DF. I have hooked the B+ up to the starter, where it meets the Battery +. The D+, D-, and DF are attached to the corresponding posts on the Regulator. Unfortunately I have a wire left over, which is orange in colour. It disappears into the wiring harness and I don't know where the other end is. I believe the "orphan end" was attached to the "A" post on the previous regulator. I don't know where it should be attached in the present configuration. Any ideas where it should be attached on this regulator? As there are no spare posts I assume it must "double up". Any ideas where the other end is?. Thanks in advance for your help and please bear with me, as I am a little "thick" on things electrical.
Bill
