Another 245 gone. 200 1988

After failing to sell the 245 I had I fixed it and gave it to my mother in law. She happily drove it for over a year. Then, last week she went to get an oil change and they told here motor mounts were bad.I promptly ordered some and a few other things from FCP. Two hours after the parts showed up my wife called me to say her mom was in an accident. That happened to be just 10 blocks or so from my house.

The car got hit right in the forward edge of the driver's door. I had a hard time finding the handle to get the hood open. The fender is pushed in and ripped. Door is jammed. MIL was just fine, though. Her first thought was to get her groceries home. Her third thought was "What am I going to do for transportation now?". Yay for that old Swedish steel.

I suppose I need to find another Volvo now.
