Clearing Check Engine Light (CEL) 900

Just had my 1994 940's mass air flow sensor replaced by a Volvo specialist.

He says that one way to clear your check engine light (CEL) is to pull the #1 fuse out, wait 15 seconds, and put it back in. Do this with the ignition key in off position.

Depending on what is causing the CEL to come on, the light will stay off temporarily, perhaps long enough to get your Volvo to pass smog inspection.
