M41 4th gear lock out switch 444-544

I am in the process of preparing a J type overdrive to put into my 544. the M41 came out of a 144 with a short shifter. I am planning on using the long shifter from my old M40. The problem is that I need to drill and tap a hole in the cover for the 4th gear lock out switch and the thread is non standard. It does not appear to be metric or SAE. does anyone know what the thread is? I bought the switch from IPD and they do not know.
Steve
