high/low headlight wiring 200

Also I am looking for

the wiring diagram that shows how to wire the low beams to also be on while the

high/low beams are active on a two light system..

That sounds as if the low beams would be on when the high beams are on. If that's the case, there is a risk of heat damage to the reflector and lens.

I remember reading some BB posts 2 to 3 years back concerning heat damage when using higher-than-stock wattage headlight bulbs. The heavy wiring relay system doesn't have that risk, as what it does is allow the bulbs to draw all the amps they can, not an excess.

In that same time-frame there was posted a way to make the corner lights into DRLs. Requires making the upper light socket capable of operating both filaments of the two-filament bulb that's in there already, and using a relay in the circuit somewhere.

Good Luck,

Bob
