The real problem is that we have become increasingly unwilling to pay for better quality - and really do not care whether what we buy will keep a plant open in the US or not. We have a disease in this country that has more or less run rampant ..called SELFishness.

To a large degree, we want the lowest $$ spent, literally - regardless of the end result, and it is coming back to bite us ...fast.
