Hello Everyone,

How do you remove the Expansion Valve/Orifice Tube from a 1985 740 (converted to R134)? The tube is located on the input side if the evaporator at the firewall. I disconnected the A/C line and thought I could just pull it out. But no, it won’t budge! I used needle nose pliers and pulled, rotated it 45 degrees and pulled, rotated it 90 degrees, but it still wouldn’t budge. I really need some advice on this before I take a hammer to the car :).
