k jet fuel return line 200 1981

I sympathize with anyone who has a k-jet system problem. Don't get me wrong, I like the system. Its just that it can be a B... to troubleshoot since its mechanical and there's nothing electrical to measure. It was stated here that JC Whitney has the best deal on the gauges. I don't understand how two cylinders could be running rich but the mixture is correct. I think the only thing that could cause unequal flow, besides clogged injectors, is the individual diaphragm regulators in the fuel distributor. Are you sure those two cylinders weren't different before the loss of power? I would recommend a test setup consisting of clear plastic hose and individual bottles for each injector. Then jumper the fuses to run the pumps. Let the bottles fill a ways and then compare the volume of fuel in each. You can also move the air meter arm to vary the flow, use a piece of hose, to verify the flow is changing with load.
