I agree, buy Delco rebuilds.

According to the online calculator, €69.45 = $108.11 for the regulator. Add shipping across the Atlantic with current fuel prices passed along to the consumer. Now figure brushes and springs, maybe bearings, for the generator. 67122 would, I think, have to farm out the generator reconditioning. Good luck finding someone who knows how to use a growler, let alone repair a shorted armature. Your bracket and a $100 Delco rebuild is beginning to look like a very attractive alternative.

I meant to ask earlier, what is wrong with your present voltage regulator? And, yes, a new Delco alternator would do away with the VR on the fender well.
