¡Great job!
Fer sure the slide hammer would not have done it.
One thing you could do if you have a problem torquing the center bolt is to leave
the lugnuts unscrewed about half an inch, tighten up the center bolt till it's snug,
then go around and tighten the lugnuts about half a turn each until it pops.
That is pretty much the principle of my puller. The lugnuts do the work so no
center bolt is required.
