headlight dimmer switch 780 700

The assembly of dimmer/turn signal switch/wiper switch on my 780 turbo is very loose. Now, the headlight dimmer will not move. It will still operate the turn signals so it moves up and down but not back and forth. I don't know if this is related to the looseness or if the switch has gone bad. I cannot figure out how to tighten the assembly.

Any ideas?
