740 Rex Regina Drivability issue and eng Light 700 1990

I have a 745 wagon, NA with about 300k on it. It is a daily runner, but a rotting roof line from a replaced roof has her days numbered and a 940 with 180k is parked alongside and breathing down her neck. The 940 needs a few weeks work herself, so here is the scope.

After a week parked, driving to work get 1.2 miles into the trip and no power whatso ever. I can barly make her go 5 mph. I have gas, turn around, stubble along, still runningm no real back fire, rumble noise from the intake, I gat a tiny amount of power by pumping the gas, get up to 20 down hill, slows to about 5 on a slight up hill

Then, the check engin light comes on, power is back to normal, drive up a steep hill home, no problem.

Park it, pull codes 2-3-3 idle valve closed

311 signal missing from Odometer (speedometer hasent worked in almost a year, it will regester occasionally, then dead for weeks)

2-2-1 O2 sensor no operating

I ran the check on the injectors (ok), idle valve (ok), and cold injector (failed, no click) Starts cold ok though.

Any ideas? it is a rex system, so no EMM.

Eric
