Temp gauge numbers.

If there were temp numbers, in F. where would they be located along the dial.
For instance what temp would the dot in the middle represent, and so forth.
Has anyone thought about this?
My guess is the middle dot would be about 190 F. About 3/4 ways would be about 200 F., and just before the red about 212 F. Does that sound about right?
