sunroof problem - 1995 - 960

I'm wondering if anyone has run into this problem. The sunroof has worked flawlessly for 13 years. Yesterday, the sunroof would open to the "vent" position but would not slide open (that is, retract into the roof). The rear of the sunroof drops about an 1/8" or so, but will not retract when the button is pushed. If you have any idea as to where I should start in solving this small problem, I'd sure appreciate your insight or experience into the problem. Thanks in advance...Neal
