Check engine light & no codes in OBD 700 1990

760 Turbo with 325K. Took it in for AC leak test (has leaking condensor--only thing in the system I haven't replaced). Picked it up (plan to do the condenser replacement myself) and the check engine light is on. Checked for codes and get 1-1-1. Car runs fine. Nothing obvious as far as pulled wires from sensors etc. I'm suspecting the OBD box connections, but it seems to be working normally. Any time I've had a check engine light on I've had fault codes. Anyone have this happen?
