PROBLEM How to remove 'storage tray/lighter unit' from dash? without breaking it! 900 1993

I'm trying to get to the climate control circuit board on a 1993 940 Turbo to fix the air condition(the compressor won't engage).

I'm having a terrible time trying to remove the "storage tray/lighter unit" That's above the ash tray and fuse/relay panel. The problem is that there seem to be a bolt that is holding it in place which is located on the left side next to where the lighter unit is. It is almost impossible to see it or to tell if it is a bolt??? I hate to have to break the panel to remove it. I've never seen anything like this. I use to have a 740 which had the same panel design but I can't remember having a problem like this.

Thanks for your help,
