Brake Booster Mounting 120-130

I finally got a brake booster standoff for mounting a booster to my 122.
The only trouble is that the only standoffs available are for 140 models which do not quite fit the pedalbox. I've resigned myself to getting some welding done. I know that Planetman was able to fabricate a booster mount that would fit the pedal box but I've not see a good picture of what the mount looks like.

Also... I have an 1800E style booster and master cylinder, but fitting that to the booster standoff will also require some modifications. Or... I need to find a 140 booster and master cylinder.

SO... either way I have to make some mods.

Would I see better performance and safety from an 71 1800E booster or a 140 Booster?

Are there any direct-fit bolt-on booster/MC substitutions?
