Planning to buy an 1800ES 1800 1973

Well, rusty compared to a cali-car, but infinitely more solid than my 71 1800E, which is all but rusted away (and very scarry underneath).

I don't follow your statement about the injectors. They work, but the little connector hoses need to be replaced. They were the little fabric-covered hoses with clamps on them ends (I don't recall if they were good clamps or the cheese-grater variety) I have an injector seal kit from IPD, but the leak at the FPR is what really concerns me. Unburt fuel dripping on the manifold...

I'd be using the car for 30 mile round trip work commutes, half highway, half city. My 1800E used to get around 27+mpg highway, which is much better than the P220.

I have a garage and carport, so protection is available. Maybe I ought to find a car-condom.
