No start, engine does not crank 900 1995

I have a '95 940 with 227K miles. I don't drive it everyday but it has always started until yesterday. When I turn the key the indicators on the dash illuminate faintly and the seat belt sound goes off. The power locks work (but not the windows) and the break lights and hazards work. I checked the battery with a digital multimeter and it read 12.7 volts. I thought it was a poor connection with the battery so I cleaned them up but to no avail.

I jumped the car and it ran fine for about 20 minutes then suddenly went dead. I jumped it again and it ran for about 5 minutes. My thought is a loose connection but I don't know where to check. From what I've read on the brickboard it could potentially be poor battery cables or a bad ignition module. Perhaps a bad ignition coil? What would cause it to die after a jump?Any help in diagnosis for this novice would be appreciated.
