About time I posted some photos. 200

I hope these load ok on dialup. I took some photos with my friend's digital camera, because people had been asking about my car, in particular the underfloor storage.

Here's the car's current front end. I made the grill out of flywire a few days ago, after I went out to the carpark to find my grill missing. It may have just fallen off, but it's likely someone souvineered it. Once I was done spraying the fly wire black, it just had to have the lettering as well, because it looked, well, feral.

When I'm home in sydney, I share a crowded street with a whole lot of 4WD owners. I fitted this hood because it had better paint work than the original (note the scrapyard numbers still on it), and then one of my neighbours appears to have backed into it, probably with a spare tire on the back. Lovely, I guess I'll put the original hood back.

I've turned down a few good sets of Virgos, because I just love the look of the chrome hubcaps on the steelies. If I could find a similar looking wheel in 15", and still use these hubcaps, I'd be interested.

This is the underfloor storage area I was talking about, if you fold the front seat forward you can get a lot of stuff into the footwell. It's nice being able get at your tools, even with a whole lot of stuff in the back. Since I live in college, I have to haul most of my possessions back to Sydney every break. It's not supposed to have the sedan door drims inside, those panels should be flat plastic, no door handles, there were plans at one stage to convert it to a wagon.

And here's the cargo area, looking pretty messy in this shot. A few days ago I cleared all my crap out of the back to carry a bed. It just slid straight in, with the mattress still on the frame. With the steel bulkead behind the seats, you never have to worry about things like that sliding into you. The wheel rim there is my 2nd spare, I pulled it off a wreck when I didn't have money for a new tire.
