overload springs 700

just wondering what the general consensus is on overload springs for a 700 sedan

i need to replace the rear springs (stock shocks are still good) on my 764 (non-nivomat, solid axle) and im thinking about getting overload springs. ill be driving in may with all my stuff (i.e. i'll be grossly overloaded) from montreal to texas (about 2000 miles). otherwise i dont plan on hauling heavy loads.

im wondering do i need to pay the extra 100$ for those overload springs from ipd that i'm only going to need once? or can i stay with stock springs?
