Quality of MTC tailshaft bushing kit ('89 244)? 1988

I'm getting ready to do a tailshaft bushing replacement on an AW 70. Does anybody know anything about the quality of the MTC tailshaft bushing kit sold by FCP Groton?

Also, there seems to be controversy in the FAQ re. the advisability of attempting to install the tailshaft bushing at home (several people recommend having it pressed in at a shop). Is this a DIY job? I have bushing drivers somewhere, but tend to use sockets for jobs like this.

Thanks, Glen.

PS - This is a "new" tranny from a donor car. Dropping the tranny is such a nasty job. I’ve done it before, and I could have sworn that all the upper bolts were 18mm. The bolts on this one were different. If anything, they seemed to be 23/32" (just less than 3/4C). I finally ended up using a six-point 19mm socket. The job was made worse by the fact that my donor '88 244GL and '91 244 donor cars are parked in our woods to hide them from the critical of the neighbors (the just-crashed '90 244DL is still in the driveway). Even though I put down a drop cloth, I was still eaten up by ants. You, know, those big reddish ones...
