Rear light question 700 1989

89'/740GL I have a light-out warning light lit on the dash and on the drivers-side rear it looks like there is a running light out on the very corner of the assembly, but I don't see a corresponding bulb. The right side is fine. I'm confused, any help would be appreciated.
