Is there reason not to use diaelectric grease (aka silicon) on the electrical connection from the Oxygen Sensor to the ECU? I've seen reference to not using Silicon near the O2 sensor -- cause it's not compatible with the sensor -- but how about on the under the hood connection? I found the green wire (ECU) connection to be oxidized -- cleaned it up with brass brush -- now seems prudent to put some diaelctric on it and then remake the connection to the O2 sensor.
Thanks!
