Next question...when I got the speedo back from shop, brand new temp gauge was installed, and capillary (?) tube was bent as seen in photo. After cursing, I carefully bent it back to proper position, and inserted sensor in boiling water to see if thing still worked.

Needle is rising, but the question is: could the long term reliability/ durability of the gauge now possibly be compromised?
