Brickboarders,

I just purchased a 1982 245 GL M46 with 131K miles and a remarkably straight rust free body. It's in that "unique" flesh pink tan color though. I was pleased to see that the motor was a B21F with early LH-Jetronic instead of K-Jetronic.

Does anybody have any information on how many B21F's were equipped with the LH-Jetronic? Is this the LH 1.0 system? When during production did they switch over to LH from K-jet? My car was made in May 1982. I know that 240's went to the B230F's with LH 2.2 for 1983.

Is this LH system basically the same as the one on later rear drive Volvos? I will be restoring this car over the next year and just wanted some insight on the system, because I can't find much information on it.

I just want the warm weather and long days to come back!!
