Hi guys,
I'm going to put an overdrive tranny in my '61 544, and I'm wondering if I should use the D type or J type. I have one of each. My ultimate goal is to bring my rpms down as much as possible when cruising at 120KM/H. The d type tranny came from a '67 123 GT and the J type is hanging on the back of a 1975 B-20 on my garage floor. My diff is a 410. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!
