STEVEO you there? 700

Hi Steve
Replaced the rear wheel bearing today and same problem exists. Slop at the other end of the axle. Next will be to look inside the diff. and see what is going on. I assume i will have to have a new gasket on hand?.
How do you tell if the parts car (1987T wagon and the problem car (1990Twagon) have identical rear ends. With a fast glance the only difference looks like MAYBE a different wiring connection into the diff. The connection may actually be the same type plug, the 1990 connection comes out of the diff. at 90 deg. the 1987 comes out of the diff. and runs parallel to the axle. TIA
