Surging idle and stalling,( not all the time) really long Please help 200 1990

OK I have a 1990 240, auto. About 2 months ago the surging started when I start the car, shut off and start up again seemed all right, now I have to rev and shut off a few times then its ok. Now about a month ago Im driving and the car just shuts down, Now IM like WTF, so I wait 5 min starts right up runs all week no probs, this happend about 4 times in the next month, I thought maybe crummy gas etc....Now today was the worst, I start up car, surging away, a few revs and retsarts all set, get about 3 miles from home, car shuts down? OK here we go wait 5 min starts up drive another half a mile then shuts down again, this time it takes like 15 min to start, this happened about 4 more times till I had to push it to a cvs parking lot,now Im stuck, and start messing with wires and looking for anything out of the ordinary.NOT STARTING AT ALL. so then I tap on the TPS, the coil, the AMM, and that little pump under the throttle body, The car started, I flew home no prob. Now I get on the board here looking for some help and guidance and found out about a fuel pump fuse next to the battery and I checked it out and it was a little melted but tested fine( replaced any way) that seemed odd.Now the car starts, but still surging for a while. Im sorry so long of a post, Any Ideas would help. The rpm sensor looked ok no cracks or nothing........PLEASE HELP>>>>>>>>>>>>I DONT WANT TO PUSH THE BRICK ANY MORE< LOL THANKS GUYS
