I gotta ask this, can the cam belt be put on backwards? Is this the reason for marking the direction of the belt with an arrow to indicate belt travel?
The belt tensioner has somekind of a plastic top on it doesn't it and it must hit a point on the tensioner pulley to put pressure on the belt , is this right? What da know got two questions in.
